VP Production Scheduling

Role summary

Responsible for providing executive leadership and strategic direction of best-in-class global production processes to achieve technical, creative, and financial success. Embeds key production principles throughout the organization, establishes processes, systems, capabilities, and mechanisms for monitoring progress throughout the product lifecycle. Assesses risk and prevents mistakes/problems, establishes continuous optimization, improvement and streamlining techniques and evaluates results to determine ongoing process improvements. Partners with production teams, ensuring the best possible process, touchpoints, logistics and communications necessary to achieve the objectives of all stakeholders. Oversees, standardizes, and manages the global production processes while accounting for local and product specific requirements. Proactively monitors and manages timelines, deadlines, accountabilities and production programs using project management best practices. Aids in the initial assessment, viability and forecasting of potential projects. Oversees the design, development, and deployment of the various production tools and systems. Effectively communicates project status within the executive leadership team on a regular basis. Serves as the subject matter expert on process execution and integration. Typically requires degrees in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related studies plus Manufacturing, Production, Engineering or Supply Chain Management experience in large complex organizations.
