SVP Environmental Engineering

Role summary

Responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership in the standardization and adoption of best practice environmental engineering methods across operations, projects, and product lines to ensure regulatory compliance and sustainable business practices. Implements appropriate engineering tools, processes, and documentation to improve environmental performance, operational efficiency, and risk management. Reviews environmental engineering deliverables for technical accuracy and adherence to regulatory, safety, and project requirements. Establishes environmental standards, policies, and procedures and oversees staff and project teams to ensure effective environmental compliance, monitoring, and reporting practices. Provides oversight and guidance for environmental systems, controls, and mitigation strategies across facilities and operations. Ensures projects and operations meet environmental regulations, sustainability goals, and organizational standards. Typically requires a degree in Environmental Engineering and extensive experience in environmental engineering within manufacturing, production, or industrial environments in large, complex organizations.
