Role summary
Responsible for mixing and producing chemical, pharmaceutical, food or consumer products according to detailed manufacturing processes. Verifies that batch and hold tanks are cleaned and available prior to processing the batch. Verifies the availability of all material prior to processing the batch. Gathers all materials required to process the batch and follow batch record instructions/steps. Operator maintains operations at optimum quality and quantity levels which minimizes manufacturing expense - effectively communicates process issues and status to appropriate personnel. Participate in Safety initiatives and programs. Typically has experience with control systems used to run and control equipment and/or processes and using precision measuring equipment. Identifies and elevates all immediate and potential quality, safety, or environmental issues (material, procedure, or process) as observed.
