Role summary
Designs, develops, and improves the manufacturing processes for solar products, ensuring high efficiency, quality, and compliance with environmental and safety standards. Designs and optimizes manufacturing processes to produce solar panels and components. Develops and implements process improvements for increased efficiency, cost reduction, and to improve product quality. Collaborates with R&D and adjacent areas to integrate manufacturing activities and processes. Prior to production, performs process simulations and failure mode and effects analyses (FMEA) to identify potential issues. Coordinates with quality assurance teams to establish quality control processes. Keeps abreast of advancements in the field, regulatory requirements, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, environmental regulations. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field is necessary. Related experience in manufacturing processes and automation, preferably in the solar or semiconductor industries is required. Additional certifications may be required.
