Senior Project Manager- Onshore Wind

Role summary

Responsible for leading or overseeing all aspects of the development, construction, and operation of Onshore wind farm projects. Utilizes project management methodology and possesses a solid understanding of Onshore wind farm technology, engineering principles, and construction methods. Working with team members from cross-functional areas, develops comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports. Ensures timely execution of all project phases from conception to completion. Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure alignment and successful completion. Interfaces may include investors, regulatory agencies, contractors, suppliers, and local communities. Keeps abreast of regulations, permits, and industry standards. Identifies potential project risks and develops mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle. Troubleshoots problems, keeping Project Management team and leadership apprised of issues, problems, or delays. Recommends resources to optimize technical and operational efficiency and minimize costs while meeting project deliverables. Oversees contract negotiations, administration, and compliance with contractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to project specifications and requirements. Ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards. Monitors and implements quality processes. Provide progress updates to stakeholders through reports, presentations, meetings, and other communication throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: A bachelor's or an advanced degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field is necessary. Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and/or renewable are preferred, and may be required. Project management experience in the renewable energy/Onshore wind industry is preferred.
