Role summary
Manages, directs, or supervises staff and the develops and implements executive compensation programs that are fully competitive and compliant with any government regulations applying to this area. Translates broader strategies and objectives into specific programs and policies. In addition to ongoing support on these topics, may undertake ad hoc on specific areas of need using either internal or external consulting resources as appropriate. This contributes to ensuring that all elements of compensation, Base Salary, Annual Incentives, and Long Term Compensation, and Perquisites are appropriately balanced and competitive relative to the needs of the organization and patterns within the industry. Evaluates at a detailed level the impact of current and pending regulatory, legislative, and reporting and disclosure requirements relative to executive compensation including proxy requirements. May also support the development of various analyses and presentations to executives relative to Salary Competitiveness, Annual Executive Bonuses, and Long Term Compensation issues such as deferred programs, Stock Options or Restricted Stock awards, and other initiatives. Requires progressive compensation experience in a large complex organization.
