Role summary
Manages, directs, or supervises staff and implementation of the company’s event planning strategy. Responsibilities include planning and organizing corporate and other events which promote the image of the company’s overall or specific products, services, or public interest issues. Directly involved in managing all aspects of event development such as: theme selection, budget development and management, venue selection, talent or speaker booking, and the management and coordination of the multiple details and people involved in implementing a successful event. In addition to ongoing coordination with the client before and during the event, also manages post event reviews to identify areas in need of improvement for future events. May have a particular expertise in one or more aspects of event planning. Require experience in planning and implementing successful large-scale events.
