Role summary
Manages, directs, or supervises staff involved in the proactive and strategic spectrum of employment and employee activities and processes to attract, hire, motivate, and retain high performing talent. Manages such activities and programs as recruitment, workforce planning, retention or grievance programs, on-boarding, employee engagement and development, performance management, recognition, and succession planning. Working pro-actively and collaboratively, ensures rapid talent acquisition, a positive employee experience, and a strategic and integrated HR and business team effort. Manages fully integrated hiring and resource strategic objectives based on forecasting, talent and staffing models, vendor management and successful onboarding. Works with colleagues at all levels and adeptly navigates corporate structures and team dynamics. Coordinates and oversees executive level communications and drives actionable output from key talent strategies delivered through staff efforts. Keeps abreast of job/role competencies, organizational changes, and “upskilling” needs. Tracks goals, metrics, and manages the implementation of plans, tools, programs, and approved methods to assure positive employee engagement and talent acquisition.
