Role summary

Collaborates with design teams to plan, and develop offshore wind farm layouts or components, considering factors like wind patterns, seabed conditions, and environmental impact. Coordinates maintenance activities to maximize efficiency. Identifies and mitigates risks associated with offshore operations. May oversee support work to enforce protocols ensuring a safe working environment and to minimize environmental impact including marine life and ecosystems. Documents, analyzes, and develops reports and performance metrics. Utilizes data analysis system tools and specialized software for modeling, simulation, and performance optimization. Collects technical data and measurements from sensors, meters, and other installed devices. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and outside contractors to ensure timely work integration. Keeps abreast of regulations, permits, and industry standards governing offshore wind farm operations. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and relevant experience and certifications or licenses are required, such as Professional Engineer (PE) license or Chartered Engineer status.
