Role summary
Responsible for leading or coordinating all aspects of wind farm projects, utilizing project management methodology, and a solid understanding of offshore wind farm technology, construction, interdisciplinary engineering, environmental/marine, safety, and regulatory requirements. Working with cross-functional team members, develops comprehensive plans, schedules, and budgets. Identifies resource needs to ensures timely execution of project phases from conception to completion. Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, work integration, quality, and successful completion per specifications. Keeps abreast of relevant regulations, permits, and industry standards and community issues. Identifies and mitigates potential risks to address technical, environmental, regulatory, and financial challenges throughout the project lifecycle. Troubleshoots problems, keeping team and stakeholders apprised of delays. Evaluates resources to optimize efficiency and minimize costs while meeting project objectives. Oversees contract negotiations, administration, and compliance of contractors and suppliers. Ensures compliance of a broad array of regulations and standards throughout activities in a demanding marine environment. Implements quality management processes to monitor and control quality. Provides timely progress updates through reports, presentations, meetings, and/or other communication channels throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering and related field is required. Project Management and other Renewable energy Certifications are required, along with offshore windfarm project management experience is required.
