Role summary

Plans, designs, and oversees the execution of construction activities to ensure that the onshore renewable energy infrastructure is built to meet project specifications and regulatory requirements. Provides structural and mechanical engineering expertise in the design and oversight of onshore construction project needs, ensuring platforms, turbines, and other project components are constructed safely, efficiently, and within budget and schedule constraints. Utilizing Computer Aided Design (CAD) methods, provides technical drawings and specifications. Develops construction plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project stakeholders. Implements protocols and provides engineering solutions to ongoing technical problems or issues.  Procures necessary materials, equipment, and services. Keeps abreast of OSHA and related regulatory or environmental requirements, as well as windfarm industry construction standards. Collaborates with site teams and contractors and resolves technical problems throughout all phases of construction, as they arise. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering, or a related field, plus applicable certifications. A professional engineering license (PE) is preferred.
