Role summary
Responsible for safeguarding the quality of the offshore wind farm structures, systems, processes, and components. QC involves testing and inspection activities, and QA involves enhancing and improving processes to prevent problems or defects. Designs and executes systems, policies, and procedures to prevent quality issues. Conducts audits and assessments of processes and systems to ensure compliance with internal and industry standards. Conducts regular quality assessments on incoming materials, in-process production, or operations to ensure safety, compliance, and quality against standards. Utilizes testing methods and equipment to identify defects and ensure reliability. Records and analyzes data and works with the Offshore wind farm engineering or construction team. Ensures that offshore wind turbines, components, processes, and quality systems comply with relevant regulatory and certification requirements. Works with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in the sciences or a related renewable energy technology or quality field is necessary. Certifications for Offshore Wind, Marine or other related areas may be necessary. Related quality control or assurance experience is required.
