Role summary

Supports the Chief Legal Officer / General Counsel by performing a variety of administrative and paraprofessional tasks such as: management of the general Counsel’s daily schedule, screening of telephone calls and visitors, processing routine correspondence, coordinating meetings and events, making travel arrangements, processing travel and other expenses through the internal administrative systems, tracking routine budget items, providing periodic, work direction to other administrative support staff and temporary workers, and undertaking ad hoc projects to support the more efficient operation of the office. Incumbents in this role require in-depth knowledge of office productivity software, company administrative systems and processes as they relate to the law department, and a knowledge of legal terminology and processes. Exposed to a large amount of highly confidential and sensitive information requiring demonstrated tact and discretion. Typically has an associate’s degree / may have bachelor’s degree and executive level administrative support experience in a large complex organization.
