Entry Benefits Assistant

Role summary

Provides administrative, technical, communication, and clerical support to assist with the Benefits function. Works closely with Benefits management and the professional teams to provide support as needed on Benefits analysis and administration matters, plans, enrollment programs, data, employee status, and special projects. May be responsible for processing benefit enrollment forms, maintaining employee records, and handling employee inquiries related to benefits offerings and options. Assists in the preparation of open enrollment materials, or communication plans, and may communicate benefit options to individual employees or schedule and organize large group Benefit informational or enrollment meetings. May be responsible for communicating with Benefit providers such as Insurance companies to gather, communicate, or verify information, ensuring Employee Benefits are being properly administered. Maintains accurate department, system, or employee records related to employee enrollment data or status, benefit plan deductions/limits, or status and benefit plan documents or history. May assist with the development or distribution of time-sensitive communications, such as employee benefit plan summaries, notices, or employee newsletters. Coordinates with adjunct functions such as Compensation, HR, or Payroll to ensure timely and effective integration and communications. A High School Degree is typically required however An Associate’s Degree may be preferred, along with prior HR or customer facing experience.
