Role summary
Plan, analyze, design, implement, test and maintain EPIC/Cerner software applications. Supervise & lead the work of small to medium group of individuals that work on a specific EPIC/Cerner module. Manage and coordinate team tasks some of which include but are not limited to: weekly meetings, delegation of activities, manage completion of tasks, etc. Resolve issues related to system development. Oversee the maintenance of issue lists, build and decision tracker documentation, meeting minutes, agendas, weekly status reports, schedule and documentation as well as other tools crucial to project success. Provide consultative advice and support to staff. Direct, manage, and supervise the activities of employees that compile, verify and manage EPIC/Cerner system. Perform annual performance evaluations of team members (including any necessary corrective or disciplinary measures). Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and five years progressively responsible experience including application implementation experience. Performance of this position requires EPIC/Cerner Certification.
