VP Supply Chain

Role summary

Responsible for the leadership and oversight of the Supply Chain function, possibly with Global responsibility. Sets and aligns strategic operational direction and policy guidance with the Corporate Strategic Plan. Develops long term goals and objectives to create net value, building a competitive infrastructure, leveraging worldwide logistics, synchronizing supply with demand, and measuring performance. Oversees the development of complex metric processes and forecast analytics, variances, and identifies and executes cost saving initiatives. Develops and implements strategic fulfillment and distribution, supply chain, and continuous improvement functions, systems, and initiatives that support the achievement of corporate sales, operations, and financial objectives. Builds and leads procurement, commodity, and supply chain operations to ensure a corporate competitive advantage. Oversees the management and/or operational integration with related areas such as Logistics, Materials Management, Fulfillment, Warehousing, Inventory Control, etc.. Oversees all aspects of supplier selection and control including new suppliers in international markets (as applicable). Forges partnerships with Executive Team, Brand Leadership, R&D, Quality, Finance, Operations and Logistics. Builds supplier relations and directs and controls the strategic sourcing process, including cost savings and risk management.
