Role summary
Responsible for strategic leadership and oversight of the Solar Energy Storage function, possibly with Global responsibility. Sets strategic direction, fosters innovation, manages resources efficiently, and ensures the company's offerings meet market demands and sustainability goals. Sets and aligns strategic operational direction and policy guidance with the Corporate Strategic Plan. Develops long term goals and objectives to create net value and builds a competitive infrastructure. Leverages Solar Storage technology and operations, synchronizes solar supply with demand, and measures storage systems performance. Oversees the development of complex metric processes and forecast analytics, variances, and identifies and executes cost saving initiatives. Develops and implements strategic solar energy distribution through effective storage system design and operations. Responsible for continuous improvement initiatives of storage systems, functions, and activities, that support the achievement of corporate goals for solar energy and storage design, operations, and financial objectives. Leads the function to ensure a corporate competitive advantage. Oversees the management and/or operational integration with related areas and the technical aspects of supplier selection and control. Forges partnerships with the Executive Team, and other key stakeholders in and outside the organization. Oversees and controls the strategic development and deployment of stored energy, including cost savings and risk management. Keeps abreast of and ensures regulatory, safety, environmental, and quality compliance. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in EE or a related field is necessary. An advanced degree or specialized training in business and solar storage technologies, system design, or renewable energy is required along with Solar Storage Systems management experience. Specialized Certifications or Technical Licenses may be required.
