Role summary
Responsible for setting strategic direction and successful development, construction, and operation of onshore wind farm projects, so they are aligned with the company’s long-term goals and strategic objectives. Advises senior executives on compliance issues and on the interpretation and implementation of corporate compliance initiatives. Oversees the development, project management, construction, commissioning/decommissioning, and operation of onshore wind farms. Oversees and develops wind farm operational plans, policies, and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient development and operation of wind farm renewable energy is in compliance with environmental, construction, and other applicable state, federal, or international laws and regulations. Has asset management and cybersecurity accountability. Mitigates risks, and ensures measures to minimize risks to personnel, wildlife, and the environment are implemented. Develops key stakeholder relationships including regulatory agency heads, local communities, suppliers, and contractors. Qualifications: One or more related technical degree(s) is required, along with extensive applicable leadership experience in the engineering, operation, and management of Onshore Windfarms. Specialized training and certifications are also required.
