Role summary
Responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and managing the company’s investment portfolio strategy to maximize returns and minimize risk and volatility. Evaluates the performance of outside investment managers, makes trading decisions, hires and terminates investment managers, and recommends changes to re-balance assets, as necessary. Prepares and delivers financial presentations and materials for the board of directors and investors and ensuring the company follows financial best practices. Typically requires a master’s degree in finance or an MBA, and relevant finance experience.
