Supply Chain Analyst 5 (Consultant)

Role summary

Responsible for analyzing, developing, and implementing data gathering, analysis, workflow management, coordination, planning, and control systems. These may relate to physical organization and rapid fulfillment to synchronize supply with internal or external demand. May interface with such areas as Fulfillment, Logistics, Receiving, Warehousing, Distribution, Purchasing/Procurement, Inspection, Supplier Relationship Management, Product Development, Manufacturing, Sales, and Inventory Control. Implements policies, procedures and systems requirements to develop reports and reporting methods to support or enhance supply chain (SC) management activities. May assist in sales forecasting, quality management, strategy development, customer service, and systems analysis. Works on assignments requiring the application of various statistical, systems, and problem analysis techniques, coupled with internal, product, manufacturing, customer, or vendor knowledge. Participates in the design, planning, execution, control, and monitoring of SC activities to create net value, build a competitive infrastructure, leverage worldwide logistics, synchronize supply with demand, and performance measurement. Develops SC analytics to support growth and cost effective execution. Develops forecast analytics, determines variances, and identifies and executes cost saving initiatives. May monitor such processes as Fill Rates, On-Time Pick up, or Vendor Deliveries to ensure customer's SC expectations are met, ensuring proactive customer/service communications. May lead or participate in cross-functional projects and execute internal or external weekly or monthly reporting. Performs root cause analysis or analysis of non-compliance charges and collaborates with key stakeholders/teams to improve SC effectiveness.
