Role summary
Responsible for successful corporate integration of newly acquired companies and to manage projects and deliverables. Leads the implementation of strategy to integrate, automate and optimize integration of business processes. Responsible for managing technical projects or subsystems from inception and strategy development to completion. Has project management responsibility and may supervise a Project Coordinator and other Project Managers, executing sub-set project components. Manages specific projects on an ongoing basis with a distinct beginning and end. Leverages Direct and/or Indirect staff to accomplish results. Maintains frequent cross-functional interactions at senior management levels. Defines problems and scopes parameters, develops strategies, develops task/solution specifications, identifies, and secures needed resources, trains members, and develops and updates project plans, timetables and milestones. Maintains and distributes documentation and communications to keep members informed, on task, and on-time. Identifies structures of authority and processes for decision making within the project, and ultimately manages the execution of the plan and post implementation evaluation of outcomes. Project management certification is desirable.
