Role summary
Manages, directs, or supervises staff and one or more projects within a portfolio of projects to meet the user interface design needs of the assigned client group. Works with client group to derive an understanding of their needs from a User Interface / User Experience Design (UI/UX) perspective. Utilizes the information gathered to structure the work required into manageable projects that can be effectively structured and coordinated. Manages User Interface UI/UX design processes such as: Usability Testing, creating wireframes, workflows, storyboards, process flows, diagrams, and site maps to predict user experience. Manages the translation of user requirements into functional UI/UX designs. Negotiates deliverables, overall service levels and schedules on projects with peers in the client groups. Works with client group on project planning and selecting and balancing internal and external staffing resources based on the skills required in the project. Provides direction and leadership on a variety of project specific and technical issues. Requires UI/UX experience, including the concepts, policies and practices required to deliver projects on time and at the required standard.
