Role summary
Manages, Directs, or Supervises property operations within the corporate portfolio that may include overseeing a variety of property operations, prospective real estate investment opportunities, tenant relations, maintenance, leasing, and budgeting. Develops and implements business plans for the property(s) and oversees day-to-day operations to ensure activities are in alignment with business goals, objectives, plans, and policies. Keeps abreast of federal, state, and local regulations and requirements, and real estate markets and trends. Communicates with property owners and stakeholders to provide updated status on property performance or issues and makes recommendations for change or improvement. Maintains and manages financial records such as expenses, budgets, rents, etc. Reviews financial models and may develop and implement marketing and leasing strategies to attract and retain tenants. As necessary, conducts or oversees due diligence and feasibility studies on prospective real estate projects and deals. Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field and several years of related experience in property management or real estate. A Real Estate License may be required in some states.
