Role summary
Responsible for managing, directing or supervising the day to day clerical processes and activities of executive assistants and/or administrative assistants (who do not report to the executives/professionals they are supporting) . Clerical activities may include using departmental templates to process routine correspondence and documents and maintaining the schedule of the supported professionals. Other activities may include, making travel arrangements, tracking travel expenses, coordinating meetings with internal and external individuals, screening telephone calls, and other administrative tasks. Allocates work to subordinate Administrative Assistants and monitors their work output from both a quality and efficiency perspective. Has frequent interaction with the Human Resources function on clerical staffing, wage and salary issues, vacation policies, disciplinary procedures and related matters.
