Role summary

Manages, directs, or supervises staff and one or more projects within a portfolio of projects to meet the graphic user interface (GUI) engineering needs of the assigned client group. Requires a comprehensive knowledge of User Interface Engineering concepts such as: User & Task Analysis, Information Architecture, Usability Testing, and Graphical User Interface (GUI) Designs. Directly involved in meeting with client management, project planning, and selecting and balancing internal and external staffing resources based on the skills required in the project. Provides technical direction at an operational level, determining standards, and with defining operational schedules for the specific array of, often, interlinked projects. Provides direction and leadership on a variety of project specific and technical issues. Requires software development experience, including the concepts, policies and practices required to deliver GUI projects on time and at the required standard. . Requires degree in Computer Science or User Interface Engineering and applications development and UI experience in a large complex organization.
