Role summary
Performs clerical processes and transactions in the payroll department. This may include the processing of various payrolls such as salaried, hourly, union, and expatriate and/or foreign national payrolls. May also process payroll related transactions associated with stock options, or benefits related data requirements. Apply knowledge of program, plan, country, contract and regulatory guidelines. Processes legal transactions related to payroll deductions such as court ordered payments or garnishments. Following policies and procedures, may be responsible for the reconciliation of general ledger transactions and suspense accounts. May compile activity and numeric information for inclusion in reports to management relative to Payroll activity. Requires accounting, clerical or payables experience. Requires knowledge of the processes used in the Payroll Department.
