Role summary
May perform a variety of day-to-day general or specialized financial administrative, and detailed clerical support duties within a Finance, Accounting, AP/AR, or other Finance Department. Duties may include data entry of financial information into a system, processing and preparing financial statements, maintaining, and updating accounts, creating, sending, or following up on invoices or financial inquiries, or updating records, or reviewing basic audits for verification on financial statements and reports for completeness and accuracy. May gather information from employees, assist in the preparation of cost reports, attend meetings within the finance department and assist with financial reporting activities; may create and revise balance sheets, or inform appropriate authorities of suspicious findings or out of guideline observations. Typically requires a HS or GED Degree and related experience. Note: this generic position excludes Payroll Support.
