Role summary
Develops and maintains plans and databases related to facilities operations, which may include offices, production facilities, warehouses, and other types of properties. Manages safety and regulatory standards. Preparation and administration of budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting future costs. Develops and maintains databases, reports, and dashboards to track facility performance and spending, and recommends improvements or enhancements. Monitors facilities, environmental, and applicable regulatory requirements to ensure implementation and adherence. Applies knowledge of building systems and equipment including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems in dealings with vendors. Identifies and then analyzes facility-related risks and identifies cost-effective and compliant strategies to mitigate them. Coordinates with internal stakeholders to assess needs and works with vendors to ensure needs are met in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective way. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, business administration, engineering, or a related field, and applicable experience.
