Responsible for developing and implementing the overall government relation’s strategy in a context where the regulatory environment facing the organization is important though somewhat less complex. Promotes and advances the interests of the organization at the Federal, State or international levels, in a consolidated structure, to shape emerging issues and to enable it to operate in its various markets without undue legislation, regulation, or taxation restriction. Responsible for organizing and staffing the combined government relations department with skilled managers and analysts and for providing leadership and direction on strategic, tactical and operational issues on an ongoing basis. This is a single incumbent position.
