Role summary
Manages, directs, or supervises Supply Chain Contracts Administration function including planning, execution, and control of contracts to ensure performance and compliance. Manages activities and staff involved with the negotiation, preparation, monitoring, and termination of contracts and subcontracts between the company and customers/vendors ensuring the fulfillment of contractual obligations. Conducts contract liaison and coordination before, during, and after contract termination. Keeps abreast of and applies knowledge of statutory requirements influencing contract development and administration. Develops and manages SC contract administrative processes, systems and operations, and coordinates contract administration activities to ensure that contractual obligations are maintained in a manner which ensures positive customer/vendor relations while representing the interest of the company. Advises management of contract obligations, deficiencies, commitments, and performance and provides interpretation of terms and conditions of contractual obligations. Coordinates pre-award negotiations between company and customer/ vendors. Directs or evaluates analyses that demonstrate the impact of modifications/revisions and prepares reports and recommendations. Initiates and supervises the conduct of special studies and investigations.
