VP Social Media - Enterprise Wide

Role summary

Responsible for executive leadership for the enterprise-wide Social Media vision, strategy, development, deployment, and support. Champions a corporate social media strategy that promotes (and safeguards) the company’s reputation, brand reputation, and promotes positive online engagement with customers, shareholders, the government, and other stakeholders. Responsible for setting strategy for social media campaigns and interactive community management. Oversees design of enterprise-wide social media metrics for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Has substantive expertise in social media, marketing communications, corporate communications, and government affairs, and may engage outside agency resources where additional expertise is needed. Guides a team who publish social media / product / corporate communications / government relations content on various sites according to an editorial calendar and who monitor and respond to feedback, as appropriate. Typically requires an individual with a degree and marketing and communications leadership experience, including experience with social media.
