Role summary
Responsible for the development and implementation of security strategies and policies designed to promote the protection and security of company executives, employees, and guests as well as the financial, intellectual and physical assets of the company internationally. Provides leadership and oversight to the management of day-to-day, and exceptional security situations and threats in the countries where the company has operations or where executives may be visiting. Closely coordinates with the intelligence and investigative functions of the company and with multi-national law enforcement agencies to ensure that threats, risks, and losses are identified, evaluated, prioritized and acted upon in a timely fashion. Has input in the overall budget and manages the international budget for security operations. Requires an executive with experience and demonstrated success in the specific challenges of international security gained in either a private organization or law enforcement or investigative agency.
