Role summary
Responsible for the development and implementation of security strategies designed to promote the protection and security of company executives, employees and company guests as well as the financial, intellectual and physical assets of the company on a global basis. Ensures that effective plans are developed to deal with both normal security situations and threats and crisis situations. Closely coordinates with the intelligence and investigative function to ensure that threats, risks, and losses are identified, evaluated, prioritized and acted upon in a timely fashion. Has responsibility for the development, monitoring and management of the overall security operations budget. Responsible for establishing an organization and infrastructure to effectively match the challenges faced and provides leadership and guidance to subordinates in carrying out their responsibilities. Requires an executive with experience and demonstrated success in a private or public sector organization of equivalent size and complexity.
