Role summary
The Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) is the top executive responsible for the oversight and management of the organization’s scientific research and development activities and operations. Responsible for communications within and outside the organization including with the scientific staff, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure that everyone is aware of the organization's scientific programs and achievements. This position typically requires a Ph.D. in a scientific discipline, research experience, and significant experience in scientific leadership and management.
