Role summary
Responsible for supporting the team in achieving revenue, profit and service objectives within an assigned base of Key Accounts, at the headquarters level. Key accounts are strategically important due to their size, complexity, leadership status within their industry, and revenue and profit potential for a full spectrum of company products and services. Responsible for ensuring that, at an operational and executional level, the accounts receive the level of attention and service appropriate to their importance to the company. Depending on level, may be responsible for sales activities for one or more groups within the assigned customers and may serve as the central liaison for the introduction of other non-sales resources for these groups as appropriate. Ensures that the company is well positioned to secure new business from these customer groups and resolves the many issues and complexities that can arise in a strategically important customer. Ensures that there is a consistent level of service to the accounts and may under direction, coordinate support from the companies regional and local offices to fulfill this objective. Requires large account sales and sales management experience.
