Role summary
Manages, directs, or supervises staff and the implementation of the strategic data warehouse development plan. Enables business users to access and leverage vast amounts of organizational and transactional data with its associated data marts and related systems more effectively. Meets with management level business users to understand their data needs from a performance management and business competitive perspective. Uses this information to develop the data warehouse and to manage an optimal approach to the architectural design, maintenance and performance of the warehouse. Also responsible for directing the development of policies and standards relative to the warehouse data content and use. Requires progressive IT operational and data management experience in a large complex organization.
