Role summary
Supports the organization's global or country safety/security goals. This department is not a field-based role, but rather typically at the country or global level. Helps ensure safety of the organization's employees, customers and assets; mitigating losses and responding to crisis situations. Responsible for ongoing risk assessments and initiating the organization's response to key stakeholders; including recommendations and action plans. Acts in a liaison to both internal customers and external agencies. To facilitate the best security response, there are multiple reports from both internal sources, and external threat assessments. May also be required for organizing safety/protection for employees or key guests for identified situation(s). May need to monitor travel among employees/guests when situations require role is responsible for assessments and review of reports, directives to assess impact to the business. May be responsible for training of various stakeholders to support readiness to various situations. Works as a strategic partner in crisis or emergency situations faced by the organization.
