Role summary
Manages, directs, and supervises staff and the protection and security of company executives, employees and company guests as well as the financial, intellectual and physical assets of the company within its assigned sub-region. Directs operational security on a day-to-day and exceptional basis. Works closely with line management and critical staff functions in resolving security issues and in planning for contingencies. Coordinates operational matters with the intelligence and investigative functions of the company and with outside law enforcement agencies to ensure that threats, risks, and losses are identified, evaluated, prioritized and acted upon in a timely fashion. Has input into the regional security budget and manages aspects of that budget. Requires demonstrated success in a private or public sector organization of equivalent size and complexity. May have expertise in one or more areas such as piracy, terrorism, counterfeiting, sabotage, loss containment or other area.
