Role summary
Manages, directs, or supervises staff and the development and implementation of a Distribution Center(s) or Distribution function. Scope may include Inbound Operations, Outbound Operations, Transportation, Distribution, Logistics, General Office Administration, Warehouse, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Inventory Control. Manages vendor relationships and external transportation carriers, participates in contract negotiations, and evaluates contract performance.
