Role summary
Develops and implements marketing programs to sell products or services through various distribution channels. Manages channel marketing communications, sales support tools, training programs, partner sponsorship initiatives, and events to enable the intermediary and its staff to be more successful in selling the company’s products, through the channel. Works closely with key distribution channel partners, sales management levels within the channel to gather feedback and identify opportunities for expanded marketing efforts. Analyzes data, a variety of metrics and key performance indicators (KPI’s) and evaluates the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across different channels. May develop or refine metrics that enable the company to effectively evaluate and compare the performance of channel participants. May be directly involved in the due diligence process when new participants are being considered or existing ones dropped from the channel portfolio. May collaborate with stakeholders in product management, marketing and sales functions. Requires an understanding of integrated channel marketing campaign development and implementation, including creation, roll out, and measurement, resulting in a measurable return on investment, and marketing experience, including relevant experience in channel marketing.
