Role summary
Responsible for developing and implementing the short- and long-term financial strategy for the Company to meet or exceed shareholder expectations on financial performance. In this capacity, provides executive leadership of the following functions: Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Treasury, Budgeting, Strategic Planning, Corporate Development, Auditing and Compliance and Risk Management. Member of and key advisor to the executive leadership team of the corporation and has frequent interaction with the Board of Directors and outside investors, investment bankers and analysts. Responsible for reviewing and approving quarterly and annual SEC and other regulatory filings and reporting financial results to the board of directors and shareholders. Develops financial and tax strategies, financial performance metrics, as well as financial control systems to mitigate risk. Manages the capital allocation and budgeting processes. Requires a seasoned and independent executive with a master’s degree in accounting or an MBA and relevant experience. This is a single incumbent position.
