Role summary
Manages, directs, or supervises staff and automating, implementing and optimizing software development solutions, software release processes, and operations for one or more projects within a portfolio of projects to meet the software development needs of the assigned client group. Directly involved in meeting with client management, project planning, and selecting and balancing internal and external staffing resources based on the skills required in the project. Provides technical direction at an operational level, determining standards, and with defining operational schedules for the specific array of, often, interlinked projects. Provides direction and leadership on a variety of project specific and technical issues. Requires DevOps engineering experience (DevOps tools, cloud platforms, infrastructure as Code, Agile methodology), including the concepts, policies and practices required to deliver projects on time and at the required standard.
