Role summary
Evaluates, improves, and maintains software system reliability including availability, performance, capacity, latency, data security, data privacy, incident response, ensuring best practices are maintained. Collaborates with other function on issues such as software engineering, IT quality assurance, and product management to improve site reliability. Analyzes technologies used and makes recommendations to software development teams on ways to improve infrastructure leveraging various tools and best practices. Requires site reliability engineering experience developing Infrastructure as Code and experience building scripts, tooling, and automation using programming languages including C#, Java, Python, Ruby, or Go, including the concepts, policies and practices required to deliver projects on time and at the required standard.
